Hydrogen Recovery from Purge Gas

Hydrogen recovery from purge gas is a technology for recovering hydrogen from purge gas generated in chemical production processes, aiming to improve resource utilization and reduce environmental pollution.

Purge gas usually comes from industrial processes such as synthetic ammonia production, methanol synthesis or hydrogenation units. It has a complex composition, including hydrogen, carbon monoxide, methane, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and other components. Although the hydrogen concentration is relatively low, it is of economic value.

Product description

Purge Gas Hydrogen Recovery Technology

This technology adopts an advanced pressure swing adsorption (PSA) gas separation unit to efficiently purify the purge gas delivered from the ammonia washing recovery post of the synthesis workshop. Through a series of sophisticated process steps, the hydrogen purity in the gas is raised to over 95%. The recovered product hydrogen is sent to the inlet main pipe of the first stage of the compressor for subsequent production; the desorbed gas is fed into the boiler water seal tank and then into the combustion chamber of the gas-fired boiler, realizing energy recycling and greatly improving the resource circulation utilization rate.
