Hydrogen Production Technology from Natural Gas
After pressurization and desulfurization, natural gas reacts with steam in a special reformer filled with catalyst to produce reformed gas containing hydrogen, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. After part of the heat is recovered by a waste heat boiler, CO in the reformed gas is converted into H₂ through shift reaction. After the shift gas is cooled, condensed and separated from gas and liquid, qualified product hydrogen is obtained through pressure swing adsorption (PSA) purification.
