Working Principle:
Pressure swing adsorption is a physical adsorption process that separates gases by the difference in adsorption capacity of various gases on the adsorbent. It also achieves gas purification and adsorbent regeneration based on the relationship between the adsorption capacity of a given gas on the adsorbent and its partial pressure.
In PSA hydrogen extraction, the adsorbent selectively adsorbs non-hydrogen components in hydrogen-rich gas mixtures under pressurized conditions, thereby separating hydrogen from other gases. Meanwhile, the adsorbed impurities are released under reduced pressure, allowing the adsorbent to regain its adsorption capacity.
Technical Characteristics:
1. Small footprint: Thanks to rational equipment layout, it occupies a relatively small area among similar units.
2. Stable operation: Capable of continuous, non-stop operation throughout the year.
3. High automation level: With complete and reasonable control points, it can realize unattended operation on site.
4. Flexible load adjustment: Operates safely and stably with a flow range of 50%–110%.
5. Easy start-stop: Can be started or stopped on demand under normal operating conditions.
